Welcome to the Sherwood Presbyterian Church website. You've probably come here to learn a little bit more about the church, so I hope you don't mind if I share what I see.

I've been the pastor here only a few short months, but every day the church continues to surprise and bless me with the ways they not only care for me, but the ways they care for so many in our community. The church members are active in all areas of our ministries, whether it be governing the church or caring for the grounds. Many of the members here have grown up in this area and have served the church in various capacities throughout their lives. Our folks have a firm belief that "church" is something that not only happens on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week, and they are serious about their call to stewardship and service. They frequently gather together simply because they enjoy each other's company. (And if you happen onto a gathering, I can assure you that you will hear much laughter!)

Our members are active not only as a large community, but also in smaller groups. We have two Presbyterian Women's groups, a day circle and a night circle. Once a month, the Men of the church gather for breakfast and fellowship.

Sherwood is a church that has much to offer to individuals or families who are seeking a church home. There are lots of ways to get involved, and we'd love to be your church family. For whatever brought you to our site, we're awfully glad you came! Come look around our site and get to know us, and then come meet us in person. We believe that wherever you are in your faith story, Sherwood has something to offer to you, whether that be a kind word, a place of fellowship, or a place to come with your deepest cares and your greatest joys. Come allow us to help you and your family experience the never ending love of Christ.
