Our members are active in all areas of church leadership, and we work through these committees to "do" the work of the church.  We believe that each member has something to contribute to Christ's ministry here at Sherwood, and we ask each member to contribute his or her gifts as s/he is able.

2009 Committees

Fellowship: The Fellowship Committee is in charge of planning regular whole church get-togethers, including dinners, covered dish luncheons, and small group meetings.

Evangelism: The Evangelism Committee seeks to find new and innovative ways to bring Christ's message of love and reconciliation to those outside our church, as well as equipping our members to do the work of the church.

Worship: The Worship Committee is in charge of Music, Choir, Communion, Special Service, and the things that enhance and help maintain regular and special worship services throughout the year.

Education:  The Education committee is in charge of Sunday School, maintaining the church library, and any learning activities and opportunites  which will help the church grow in relationship with Christ.

Service Committee:  The Service Committee works with the Prayer Chain,  and is in charge of Visitation and Member Care.
