Dear Friend,

      You have been important to the life of Sherwood Presbyterian Church!  We’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to our Homecoming Celebration. Sunday, November 6, we special day filled with activities to celebrate the work, ministry,  and history of Sherwood.  Please come be our guest at this joy filled event!  Worship will begin at 11 a.m. and will include special music by The Lamplighters Quartet.   We’ll be having lunch, and if the weather is nice, we may play some outside games with kids of all ages. 

    In order to commemorate the occasion, we are putting together a cookbook of treasured Sherwood recipes.  We would love to include your recipe! Please send a legible copy of your recipe to the address above or email it to sherwoodpres@gmail.com  In order to have the cookbooks ready in time, recipes must be in by October 1.  Cookbooks will be for sale that day on the day of the event, but if you to purchase a cookbook, please include a note to that effect with your recipe, so that we may know how many to make.  We will have a few extras available for purchase that day.

    During the afternoon, we will be having a time of sharing and fellowship.  Be thinking of special memories that you have of Sherwood as we would love you to share those with us! If you have a church photo that you would like to include in a special slide show, please email those to the church email or send hard copies to the church’s address.  If you send us a hard copy, please put your name on the back of it.  You may pick up your photos during our celebration!
